R.O.S.C.A.™ is a social app revolutionizing how Latinés organize the way they borrow and lend money, by modernizing our community’s tried and true traditions.

What’s R.O.S.C.A.?

R.O.S.C.A.™ is a peer-to-peer budgeting social app––made by Latinés, for Latinés. By combining the money circles of our ancestors with our current tech, security, and accessibility, we’re taking our financial freedom into our own hands.

R.O.S.C.A. Pa’ La Gente

Our goal is to facilitate Latiné communities in meeting their current financial goals–una boda, a first car, a new home, sending money to family members back home– and eventually achieving financial freedom. It’s more than just shifting the way you budget money, it’s about giving you culture-informed support, education, and organization you need to take ownership of your finances for generations to come.

Let’s break it down

Our social app takes the budgeting circle traditions of our past and updates them to work for our community’s modern-day needs and realities. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Get the Software

Download R.O.S.C.A.™ to your iPhone or Android.

Step 2: Gather your crew

Identify the members of your circle, get clear on the purpose and the rules of your circle, then, organize your money pool inside the app.

Step 3: Create your Settings

Whether your money circle is for an event, dealing with an emergency, or just need some breathing room, your circle’s got your back. Use the app to organize contributions, specifying the amount, reminders, and due dates: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.

Step 4: Stay on Track

The app automatically calculates individual balances, tracks when payments are due, and allows you to create customized notifications for payments and reminders. And, of course, you’ll also be able to access detailed reports.

Why It Matters

Tradition Meets Tech

Lending circles have been around for hundreds of years in countries around the world

Empowering La Comunidad

Latines in the U.S. have a total economic output surpassing $3.2 trillion.

Tech-Savvy Saving

Latines use technology at the highest rate compared to other consumers.

Trusted Banking Alternative

Latine households in the U.S. are still underbanked or unbanked, citing high fees, unattainable minimums, and distrust in banks as the main reasons.

Save Fair, Save Smart

On average, Latines are one of the underserved groups in the U.S. charged more by financial institutions to use bank services.
